Most MINI car parts have a part number printed, stamped, or engraved directly onto the part itself. The part number is usually a 7-digit, 11-digit or 13-digit code: (for example, 1234567, 1234 5678910 or 1234 5678910 01)
They may also include BMW logos or branding, as MINI is part of the BMW Group. The Important section to identify is the main 7-digit code, which will lead you to the correct results. Below is an example. The part number in full we have encircled, the main 7-digit section is underlined.
How to locate your part number:
- Look for a sticker, stamp, or casting number on the part.
- Common locations include:
- Engine components: often on the housing or brackets.
- Body panels and trims: usually on the rear or inside face.
- Electrical parts: often on a sticker with barcodes.
- Some parts may also have QR codes or barcodes showing the number digitally.
